Song for Aoife by Seamus Steele

Two men with “Troubles” related pasts and from opposite sides, meet in the garden of their children’s hospice. Their animosity towards each other is clear. However, as the children’s conditions deteriorate, the men start to form an accommodation, if not friendship. This understanding is accentuated by their attempts to help a young African nurse, whose family has been burned out of their home during racial rioting in the city.
