Belvoir Players
No Regrets by Julie-May Noteman

This is a dark memory play in which Deirdre Dooley relives the events surrounding her sister Geraldine’s sudden death The action shifts fluidly between a courtroom – where Deirdre stands accused of murder and the rundown rural family home where the sister’s final encounter unfolds. Characters transform in full view of the audience, blurring memory, guilt and imagination.

Bangor Drama Club
The Proposal by Anton Chekov

A land dispute between Ivan Lomov and the Chubukov family over the ownership of some meadowlands. Lomov visits the Chubukovs with the intention of proposing marriage to their daughter Natalya, but becomes distracted and agitated while trying to assert that the meadowlands rightfully belong to him, not the Chubukovs. An argument ensues between Lomov and Natalya over the ownership of the disputed property.
