Newpoint Players
Two Gentlemen of the Holylands by Lorcan McGreevy

The Belfast Holylands area is renowned far and wide as a cesspit of youthful depravity. In this Shakespearian pastiche setting, the articulation may be more refined than is typically heard from local residents, but their circumstances are no less impoverished and substance-soaked. Follow the adventures of Collie and Dazzle as they reckon with the impact of an unthinkable crime – the theft of all the booze from their local tavern – and cross paths with Sophie and Grace, young women who have faced too much slander from their neighbours and are determined to take matters into their own hands.
Adult content: Drug use, alcohol references, sexual references, sex work references, threats of violence.

Theatre 3 Newtownabbey
