Hazelbank Park, situated on the shores of Belfast Lough, is the remnants of an estate house with fantastic views over the Lough to Co. Down. The mature trees, remaining from the formal gardens and the orchard species are testament to the history of this site which has something for everyone. Visit in the summer for a paddle or a picnic. Spend some time in the play park or head off for a walk to Gideon’s Green where Whitehouse Lagoon provides a stunning opportunity for birdwatching! Or head in the other direction for the village of Whiteabbey for a variety of cafés and shops. You can walk or cycle from Hazelbank Park to Belfast using the National Cycle Way. The route follows along the shore of Belfast Lough, as far as the Lagan Towpath.
